Administration and Fundraising

Admin Support needed for the Vice-Chairman to help run our thirteen disability football teams.

Volunteer assistant required to help organise and run volunteer tasks, manage projects and undertake survey work.

We are looking for someone with the enthusiasm to take charge of our fundraising efforts.

Books2Africa is in need of Fundraising Officers to work remotely as part of our Volunteer Fundraising Committee (VFC), with a focus on identifying grant/funding opportunities, etc.

We need more volunteers to help with our fundraising efforts and give support to the Coordinator by having ideas and helping to make them happen. You choose how much time you can give us.

Caseworkers are the lynchpin of what we do, they visit those looking for support, listen to the client, assess the need and work out what SSAFA can do to help.

Divisional Secretaries support the local ex-service community within the divisional area, and are supported by the Branch Secretary.

The role is for a volunteer referral secretary who is the first person in the organisation who will receive the telephone call from someone who has been bereaved.

Healthwatch Kent Readers / Researchers are an integral part of the ongoing task of staying up to date and informed about the health and social care landscape within Kent and further afield.

Our Readers Panel provides feedback on our information sheets and booklets, publications, and research questionnaires. Someone with experience of living with Crohn’s or Colitis, or a parent of a child with Crohn’s or Colitis.

We are in need of Marketing Officers to work remotely as part of our Volunteer Marketing Committee (VMC), with a focus on generating content for our social media channels and monthly electronic newsletter sent to the Books2Africa Ambassadors Network. 

Become a CROP volunteer and help older people access what they need to know when faced with a problem and don’t know where to turn to. With your support you can help with: Accessing Benefits, Complaints, Housing, Helping to write letters and make phone calls etc.

To provide invaluable administrative support. This could include arranging meetings, contacting venues, supporting our events and taking meeting notes.

We would warmly welcome a volunteer to support our charitable work in helping people living with cancer or other long term health conditions.

Community fundraising is at the heart of how we raise funds at a local level. The money we raise funds the delivery of universal services that include our national website, Dementia Helpline, support services, campaigning and research into the cause, cure, care and prevention of dementia.

Hope for Tomorrow is seeking volunteers.

Attending committee meetings (currently online via zoom) which happen on an ad hoc basis but usually around once every 2 – 3 months. Taking minutes at the meetings and distributing these.

Fundraising Representative Group Leader plays a significant part in the success of community fundraising at a local level.

We are in urgent need of Processing Officers who are responsible for checking, scanning, sorting and cataloguing donated books at our Processing Centre in Canterbury.
