We are seeking a number of telephone befrienders to contact lonely or socially isolated older people in the Canterbury district.

To provide a person-centred befriending service for local people with a learning disability aged 18 plus who live in Medway or Kent. 

The Samaritans offer every caller a supportive ear.

To visit a lonely person in their own home for a chat and a cup of tea. There are a lot of lonely people in the local area, this scheme can really make a difference to peoples lives.

We are looking for volunteer befrienders, in the Canterbury and Herne Bay areas, to visit a sight impaired person in their own home.

As a volunteer befriender you would be asked to visit a person or couple at home that we are supporting, to offer companionship and a friendly, listening ear at a difficult time.

We are looking for diploma-level qualified counselors who are empathic individuals with strong work ethics and a firm set of boundaries.

Prevention Matters help adults regain confidence, maintain independence and help them get out and about.

IASK (Information Advice & Support Kent) is seeking for several volunteers to provide independent advice & support to parents and/or carers of children with special educational needs & disabilities and young people between the ages of 16 and 25.

Cats Protection Canterbury & District is seeking Volunteer Fosterers
